We collect personal information for the purpose of serving your insurance needs and providing services to you. Personal information includes any information that identifies you or describes your relationship with Federated.

- Information regarding your transactions with us including, but not limited to, policies purchased and premium payment history; and

Information Shared Among Federated
As permitted by law, Federated may share your personal information with each other for various purposes, such as offering you other services or opportunities made available by our subsidiaries or affiliates.
The sharing of such information relieves our clients of the burden of providing duplicate information each time they apply for a new product with any of our subsidiaries or affiliates. In addition, sharing information allows Federated to develop and enhance services to offer a competitive range of services to our clients. Federated will only share information for legitimate business purposes with the goal of providing our clients with convenience and more choices.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We do not sell our client lists or any personal information regarding our clients.
We do not disclose any non-public personal information about you to anyone, except as required or permitted by law or described above. We may disclose the information we collect about you to non-affiliated companies as reasonably necessary to provide you with insurance products and services. For example, we may disclose information about you to third parties to assist us in servicing your policies and/or claims.

Federated works with a number of third parties to help protect your personal information and maintain the security of our network and may share your personal information with such third parties to the extent necessary to obtain the third party’s services. Our employees are bound by our Code of Conduct and policies to limit access to consumer information for business purposes only and keep your personal information confidential.

Additional Information for Web Site Visitors
We collect two kinds of information about our online visitors. Non-personal information is collected from visitors who are accessing our public pages. This non-personal information is used to track such things as the number of guests visiting our site; the areas of the site visited; date and time of access; browser and operating system type used by the visitor; and host or service provider information. Federated does not collect personally identifiable information about your online activities by means of a tracking device. Therefore, Federated does not respond to “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide you the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services.
Federated may offer you services from third parties through the Federated website. It is Federated’s understanding that those third party vendors do not collect personally identifiable information about your online activities when you use those services through the Federated website. It is Federated’s understanding that its third party vendors only collect your personally identifiable information when you provide it to them directly.
Children Under 13 Years of Age
The Federated website is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13.
Federated cannot guarantee the privacy of any communications made over the Internet. While we maintain reasonable electronic safeguards regarding our enrolled users, we will not assume any responsibility for any harm, loss or damage you may incur as a result of your transmittal of personal information over the Internet to or by Federated.
